Recommended Movers in Forest Acres

Families in Forest Acres call us for a few familiar reasons: a growing household that needs more room, a downsizing move after the kids leave, or a new job outside the Midlands. Our residential movers in Columbia, SC, handle each of those with the same trained crew and the same transparent hourly pricing.

The Parts of Forest Acres We Cover

Swamp Rabbit Moving & Storage moves households on both sides of Forest Drive, from single-family streets to apartments and condos near the shopping corridor. Forest Acres is its own incorporated city of roughly 10,600 residents, set inside the Columbia area, so we also handle moves that start here and end in Shandon, Irmo,, or Lexington.

Residential Moves for Forest Acres Homes and Apartments

Swamp Rabbit Moving & Storage sizes the crew to the home. A 2-bedroom apartment often works with 2 movers and 1 truck at $180 per hour, while a 3- or 4-bedroom house usually needs 3 or 4 movers. Our Columbia local movers page explains what each local move includes, from packing to final placement.

What Sets Our Crews Apart Here

Every mover on your job is our own employee, drawn from a team of 60 with 19 company-owned trucks. Furniture disassembly and reassembly are included at no extra charge, and all packing supplies come with any packing service. We are licensed, bonded, and insured under PUC 9880, DOT #3449704, and MC #1163908.

Getting Started

The estimate is free and covers crew size, truck count, and any packing you want added. For larger moves, our financing options can spread the cost so your move date does not have to wait on payday.
